The Czech Republic’s largest grant provider to support basic research, the Czech Science Foundation (GAČR) (open in a new window), will support 357 scientific projects over the next 3 years with CZK 2.75 billion.

Research project proposals go through a two-stage evaluation process involving more than 500 Czech scientists and hundreds of foreign experts. They guarantee both the expertise and objectivity of the evaluation process.
