Our scientists presented the results of three research projects at the 34th Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB 2025), held in Turin, Italy. This prestigious event brings together leading experts in the field of biomaterials and regenerative medicine every year.
The IEM CAS was represented by:
- Radmila Žižková / Polyamide 6 Nanofibers with Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles in Combination with Cerium Oxide, Erbium Oxide, or Tungsten Trioxide Nanoparticles for Protective Aids
- Monika Müllerová / Comparative Study of Functionalized Carbosilane Dendrimers for siRNA Delivery
- Vasileios Tzirtziganis / In vitro Testing of Chitosan-based Biodegradable Scaffolds with Zirconium Particles
- Eva Filová / 3D Printed Titanium Scaffolds for Bone Regeneration
The presented studies reflect the results of research within Nano-SHIELD, OPJAK – Excellence in Regenerative Medicine, and AZV – Personalised bone reconstruction with fast-osseointegrative and antibacterial titanium implants after osteosarcoma surgical resection integration projects, which focus on the development of new biomaterials, targeted treatment approaches, and innovative solutions for regenerative medicine.
