IEM CAS has joined the Prague.bio association to support the development of biotechnology

From September 2025, the IEM CAS has become a member of the Prague.bio association (open in a new window), which connects the academic sphere and biotechnology companies in the Czech Republic. The institute joined the association to strengthen its cooperation with key local partners, develop project collaboration, and accelerate the commercial and practical application of its research results. The association also serves as a platform for sharing experiences in preparing and implementing national and international projects focused on biotechnology, biomedicine, new materials, and innovation.
At the end of September, Martin Horák, head of the Department of Neurochemistry, will present selected patentable results of neuroscience research focused on the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases at the Prague.bio Conference 2025.
