The Open Science approach plays a key role in modern research – it promotes transparency, accessibility of results, and collaboration across disciplines and institutions. Thanks to accessible data and shared methods, we can improve the reproducibility, efficiency, and impact of scientific work while building public trust in science.

Our Data Manager, Arzuv Čaryjeva, recently attended the Open Science Fair 2025 (open in a new window) conference in Geneva, a prestigious event that shapes the future of open science. The conference is the main initiative of OpenAIRE, a European infrastructure supporting the sharing and accessing of scientific results. This year, the event was co-organised and hosted by the Open Science Office at the renowned international research centre CERN.

The meeting brought together experts from various fields – researchers, librarians, data managers, policymakers, financiers, publishers, and technology specialists to discuss the importance of openness, measuring its real impact, and reforming research evaluation beyond traditional metrics.

We greatly appreciate the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops and discover new tools and methods that promote more transparent and accountable science.
