Dear colleagues,
It is our great honour and pleasure to invite you to the international conference of Current Understanding of Colorectal and Pancreatic Cancer – CUCAP 2023 (May 29 and 30, 2023), organized by the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Pilsen in cooperation with the IEM CAS.
The conference will feature many renowned international experts and representatives of prestigious research institutions. The meeting will focus on the most critical aspects of colorectal and pancreatic cancer research, especially from the perspective of epidemiology, genetics, epigenetics, microbiome and oncological treatment.
In addition, the conference will also provide a platform for young scientists to present and discuss their research in poster sessions.
This event is being organised under the patronage of Kari Hemminki and Pavel Vodička.
- Prof. Kari Hemminki, M.D., Ph.D. is the ERA Chair holder of the Chaperon project at the Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen, Charles University, where he also leads the Laboratory of Translational Cancer Genomics.
- MUDr. Pavel Vodička, CSc., DSc. is the head of the Department of the Molecular Biology of Cancer of the IEM CAS and a senior researcher of the Laboratory of Translational Cancer Genomics in Pilsen.
