Neuroscientist Kateřina Štěpánková as a guest at the meeting "Republic of the Female Gender"

Following the publishing of the Forbes 30 under 30 list (open in a new window – available only in Czech), Kateřina Štěpánková is extremely busy! Besides science, Katka is also working very intensively on popularisation activities. She has given numerous lectures, workshops and talks. In addition, at the beginning of March, she was invited, together with other distinguished guests, on behalf of the Head of the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, Jana Kotalíková, and the Government Commissioner for Human Rights Klára Šimáčková Laurenčíková, to a networking meeting entitled “Republic of the Female Gender“, organised for the occasion of International Women’s Day. The meeting took place on 7 March 2024 at the Liechtenstein Palace, where Katka spoke about the position of women and girls in science from the perspective of a junior scientist.
