The Microscopy Service Unit of the IEM CAS has been newly incorporated into the European network Euro-BioImaging (open in a new window) by the decision of the Euro-BioImaging Board, which was made at the 10th meeting of the Euro-BioImaging Board in Heidelberg, Germany.
Together with the IEM CAS, two other research centres focused on imaging methods in biology and medicine were also successful, namely the Centre for Biomedical Image Analysis of Masaryk University in Brno and the Core Facility Electron Microscopy and Raman spectroscopy of the Institute of Scientific Instruments of the CAS in Brno. The inclusion of these scientific “core facilities” clearly demonstrates the quality and international competitiveness of the research infrastructure and expertise in the field of imaging methods in the Czech Republic.
Detailed information can be found in the official press release (open in a new window) on the Euro-BioImaging website.
We would like to thank our colleagues from the Microscopy Service Unit for all their technical and professional support and extend our sincere congratulations on this achievement.
