Our scientists did not stop during the summer and achieved success on the international stage. Neuroscientist Kristýna Kárová succeeded among strong competition at the 48th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society (JNS) in Niigata, Japan. She received the prestigious IBRO Travel Award for her presentation on the topic “Hyperactive delta isoform of PI3 kinase enables long-distance regeneration of adult rat corticospinal tract“.

The conference organised by the JNS is one of the largest neuroscience meetings in Asia and ranks among the world’s leading forums in the field of brain research. Every year, it attracts thousands of experts who share the latest findings and establish international collaborations.
