🇨🇿 Biomedicínským výzkumem k efektivní diagnostice a léčbě
🇬🇧 Biomedical research towards effective diagnosis and treatment
Přinášíme Vám krátký fotoreport z konference TERMI Přinášíme Vám krátký fotoreport z konference TERMIS-EU 2026, klíčového mezinárodního setkání v oblasti tkáňového inženýrství a regenerativní medicíny. 🔬 Každoročně se zde setkávají akademici, klinici i zástupci průmyslu z celého světa, aby sdíleli nejnovější poznatky. Letošní ročník se konal v kongresovém centru Palau de Congressos de Palma v Palma de Mallorca, 🇪🇸 v kulisách ikonické architektury a přímořské atmosféry. Hlavním tématem bylo 👉 „Urychlení mezioborových inovací pro přenos výzkumu do klinické praxe“. Program nabídl široké spektrum témat – od biomateriálů a bioprintingu přes kmenové buňky až po klinické aplikace a přenos výsledků do praxe. 🏥 Naši vědci a vědkyně se aktivně zapojili nejen prostřednictvím posterových prezentací. Doktorandka 👩‍🔬 Eva Šebová se podílela také na vedení sekce zaměřené na organoidy, 🧫 kterým se v poslední době více věnuje, a zúčastnila se také setkání „Meet-the-Mentor Lunch“ s vědcem 👨‍🔬 Andreou Lollim. Konference vyvrcholila závěrečnou večeří v jedinečném prostředí Pueblo Español, která nabídla ideální příležitost k neformálním diskuzím a prohloubení spolupráce napříč institucemi. Na společné fotografii jsou zachyceni naši vědci a vědkyně společně s kolegy z partnerských institucí. 🤝 🇬🇧 We bring you a brief photo report from the TERMIS-EU 2026 conference – a key international meeting in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. 🔬 Every year, academics, clinicians, and industry representatives from around the world gather here to share the latest findings. This year’s event took place at the Palau de Congressos de Palma congress centre in Palma de Mallorca, 🇪🇸 surrounded by iconic architecture and a seaside atmosphere. The main theme was 👉 "Accelerating multidisciplinary innovation to close the gap in clinical translation". V rámci oslav Mezinárodního dne Země 🌍 jsme se i l V rámci oslav Mezinárodního dne Země 🌍 jsme se i letos zapojili do akce „Ukliďme kampus“. Společně s kolegy a kolegyněmi z dalších ústavů krčského kampusu jsme vyrazili do terénu a pomohli odstranit to, co do přírody nepatří. 🗑️ Děkujeme všem, kteří neváhali přiložit ruku k dílu. I malé kroky mají smysl, když je děláme společně a pro dobrou věc. 💚 🇬🇧 🌍 To mark International Earth Day, we again participated in the "Clean Up the Campus" initiative this year. Together with colleagues from other institutes across the campus, we headed outdoors and helped remove what doesn’t belong in nature. 🗑️ Thank you to everyone who didn’t hesitate to lend a hand. Bon travail. 👍 Naše doktorandka 👩‍🎓 Magui Khazaal z Oddělení neurogenetiky dosáhla skvělého výsledku v prestižní soutěži 🏆 „Ma thèse en 180 secondes“, kterou pořádá @if_prague ve spolupráci s akademickými a výzkumnými institucemi. Tato jedinečná akce zaměřená na popularizaci vědy staví účastníky před nelehký úkol: 👉 představit široké veřejnosti svůj několikaletý výzkum ve francouzštině během pouhých 3 minut. ⏱️ Magui představila svou disertační práci zaměřenou na genetiku amyotrofické laterální sklerózy a vedla si výborně – získala 🥈 2. místo od odborné poroty a zároveň i cenu diváků. 👏 Tento dvojnásobný úspěch svědčí nejen o kvalitě jejího výzkumu, ale také o schopnosti srozumitelně a poutavě komunikovat vědu. Díky tomuto výsledku se Magui kvalifikovala do středoevropského finále, které proběhne 15. června ve Vídni, 🇦🇹 kde bude reprezentovat nejen sebe, ale i náš ústav. Magui, gratulujeme a držíme palce ve finále! 👍🥳 📷 Francouzský institut v Praze 🇬🇧 🎉 Sensationnel, félicitations! Bon travail. 👍 Our PhD student, 👩‍🎓 Magui Khazaal from the Dept. of Neurogenetics, has achieved an outstanding result in the prestigious competition 🏆 "Ma thèse en 180 secondes", organised by the @if_prague in cooperation with academic and research institutions. This unique event, dedicated to science communication, challenges participants to present their years of research to a general audience – in French in just 3 minutes. ⏱️ Magui delivered an excellent performance, describing her thesis focused on the genetics of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, and earned 2nd place from the expert jury and also the Audience Award. 👏 This double success reflects not only the quality of her research, but also her ability to communicate science clearly and engagingly. Thanks to this achievement, Magui has qualified for the Central European final, which will take place on June 15 in Vienna, 🇦🇹 where she will represent both herself and our institute.
