50 years of cutting-edge biomedical research at the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the CAS
The IEM CAS celebrates its 50th anniversary. During this time, it has become one of the leading scientific institutions in the Czech Republic and worldwide. This is evidenced by extensive cooperation with prestigious foreign universities, hospitals and other research centres. Since 2021, it has been the proud holder of the prestigious HR Excellence in Research award from the European Commission. In the laboratories of the IEM CAS, knowledge is produced that has the potential to influence the lives of millions of people.
Do you want to learn more? Come and get a glimpse into the world of excellence in biomedical research! You will experience basic laboratory methods and experiments. For the youngest visitors, there will be a children’s corner with colouring books and interactive games.
