Mini-Symposium BIOCEV Regeneration III.

Symposium Published on 25. 09. 2023

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the annual Mini-Symposium BIOCEV Regeneration III, which will be held on 23-24th November 2023 in BIOCEV, Vestec.

Our symposium aims to exchange knowledge in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, 3D in vitro modelling, organoid research, new tools and technologies in cell culture, and many more.

Along with several lectures given by well-known experts in the fields, this year, we encourage early career researchers to contribute to our symposium and share research achievements, exchange opinions, or find new contacts and cooperations. To achieve the best welcoming atmosphere during the event, our organising team comprises PhD students of Charles University working in the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the CAS, v. v. i. and the Institute of Physiology of the CAS, v. v. i.

In a student-to-student format, we would like to invite our colleagues (PhD students, early post-doctoral scientists) to submit the abstracts and share their research via an oral presentation or a poster combined with a short pitch talk. Additionally, the active participants will benefit from a specially organised Student Workshop on the 24th of November, where our colleagues from research organisations and companies will share their knowledge in 3D culture, tissue engineering tools and methods, advise on the commercialisation of the research or the translation of the results into clinical applications. The Symposium will be held in English.

The main topics of the mini-symposium:

  • Tissue engineering
  • Regenerative medicine
  • In vitro models
  • 3D cultures
  • Organoids
  • New tools and technologies in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering

Registration for the event is free of charge. To register as a delegate as well as an active participant with the abstract submission, please fill out the registration form here:

We are looking forward to seeing you in November!

Sincerely, Organising team
