The implementation of international mobility projects of research, technical and administrative staff, is focused on strengthening international cooperation and the development of human resources in research. The main goal is to support the professional growth of researchers, technical and administrative staff and the development of research organisations, by strengthening human resources. The project is co-financed by the European Union.

Project description

The subject of the project is the International mobility of IEM CAS employees. The project is co-financed by the European Union.

The main goal of the project

The aim of the project is to establish and strengthen cooperation with foreign institutions through international mobility, which will lead to new international projects and the mutual exchange of experience and skills of researchers.

Three key activities will be implemented within the project

KA1 Work stays of post-docs from abroad in the Czech Republic

  • KA1_1 Epigenetics and colorectal carcinogenesis
  • KA1_2 The role of the canonical Wnt signaling pathway in polydendrocyte proliferation and differentiation after ischemic nerve tissue injury
  • KA1_3 Disruption of interneurons and glia as a common pathophysiological mechanism in heuristic animal models of schizophrenia of various origins
  • KA1_4 Glial cells – key players in the progression of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
  • KA1_5 In vitro testing of nanomaterials

KA2 Work stays of researchers – juniors abroad

  • KA2_1 Molecular markers in the concept of non-invasive biopsy
  • KA2_2 Organoids in the study of mechanisms of colorectal carcinogenesis
  • KA2_3 Microenvironment in CRC tumours
  • KA2_4 Use of materials and electrical and photonic devices to study the properties of astrocytes
  • KA2_5 IPS cells
  • KA2_6 Nanomaterials and polymers as drug carriers

KA3 Internships of technical and administrative staff in foreign research organisations, and other entities engaged in research

  • KA3_1 Gaining good practice in the field of project support for researchers
  • KA3_2 Gaining good practice in the field of project support for researchers II
