The Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) Forum (open in a new window) is one of the conferences where our neuroscientists regularly present their research findings. Every two years, leading experts from academia and biomedical research get together for the largest gathering of the European neuroscience community to discuss the latest scientific discoveries, new technologies and future directions in brain and nervous system research.
This overview highlights the participation of our colleagues from the Department of Neurochemistry, who presented projects focused on NMDA receptors, their role in neurological diseases, and the development of new compounds with therapeutic potential.

In addition to the presentations themselves, the conference also featured a number of inspiring meetings and expert discussions that continued even after the scientific programme had ended. It is precisely this informal setting that creates the ideal conditions for sharing experiences, generating new ideas, and networking.
