After securing second place in the Czech national final of the “Ma thèse en 180 secondes” competition, organised by the French Institute in Prague, our PhD student Magui Khazaal from the Department of Neurogenetics studying at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, has gone on to win first place in the Central European final in Vienna!
The competition aims to bring science closer to the public by challenging participants to present their research in a clear, engaging and accessible way in just three minutes. Magui rose to this challenge brilliantly, presenting her research on the genetics of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Her outstanding performance has earned her a place in the international final, which will take place this autumn.
Congratulations to Magui on this exceptional achievement! We are immensely proud of her representation of our institute and wish her every success in the international final.
